Awards Session

Every year, as part of the ECSS program, Informatics Europe organises an Award ceremony on the second day of the Summit, where the winners of its annual awards will be presented:

• The Minerva Informatics Equality Award recognises best practices in departments or faculties of European universities and research labs that encourage and support the careers of women in Informatics research and education. 
• The Best Dissertation Award, debuted in 2023, aims to stimulate emerging researchers by rewarding them, and disseminating excellent research findings to the Informatics Europe community and beyond.

The award winners will have the opportunity to present their achievements in a short talk during the Awards session this year on Tuesday, 29 October.
