With this year’s main theme “Informatics: Shaping the Future”, ECSS 2023 will be addressing various hot topics in informatics, and debate how informatics scientists can and should address and accelerate responsible changes successfully. During the 3 days summit, participants will debate and find common grounds on aspects such as AI in Education, green ICT, entrepreneurship, life-long learning and inclusive leadership. In addition, the welcome cocktail on Monday and the official dinner on Tuesday evening offer you great opportunities for further exchange and networking with colleagues in informatics and related disciplines across Europe and beyond. Early Career Researcher Grants
As a European community for informatics scientists, it is our mission to nurture the next generation of informatics leaders in Europe. To support our emerging leaders in extending their network and gaining a broader perspective of the discipline, a special 1-day ECSS session is dedicated to their career development and a limited number of grants are available for PhD students participating in the entire ECSS 2023 or just at the Early Career Researchers Workshop on 23 October.
