Leveraging a wide-ranging expert network from 180+ member institutes, Informatics Europe offers tailored department assessment services to enhance the research and education quality of your department, faculty or institute.

Best Dissertation Award
Sponsored by Springer, IE honours outstanding PhD dissertation(s) in Informatics from our member institutions, supporting emerging talent, and sharing excellence across Europe and beyond.

Software Research
Software research drives digital innovation across all sectors. Join our Software Research Working Group, part of a pan-European coalition, to guide policy dialogues and advance software research as a strategic priority in Europe.

Open Science
Informatics Europe supports transparency and accessibility of research. Through initiatives like Open Citations and our Open Science Working Group, we provide member institutes with opportunities to contribute to and benefit from open research practices.

Early Career Researchers
IE's Early Career Researchers (ECR) Working Group empowers the next generation of Informatics professionals and supports member institutes in building environments where new talent thrives.

Research Evaluation
In collaboration with other European and international organisations, we work on proposing guidelines and recommendations to improve the way researchers are evaluated in Informatics and closely related areas.
