Job Description
The UOC is looking to hire affiliated teaching staff for the academic year 2025/2026.
Affiliated teaching staff need to have experience and currently be employed in their field. The Universitat Oberta de Catalunya needs professionals whose main professional activity is linked to the position they are applying for, enabling them to provide a quality service. Therefore, applicants must have a main professional activity that they will maintain alongside their work as affiliated teaching staff.
Functions and conditions for teaching collaboration at UOC
We are looking for course instructors for the subjects of the Software Engineering area of the Computer Engineering degree:
- Software Engineering: introduction to software engineering, object orientation, requirements and UML analysis.
- Requirements Engineering: introduction to requirements engineering, requirements elicitation, requirements management, requirements documentation, requirements verification and validation
- Analysis and Design with Patterns: principles of software design, analysis patterns, architecture patterns, responsibility assignment patterns and design patterns
- Degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
- Teaching, research and / or professional experience in the area of ¿¿knowledge.
- Good knowledge in the field of object-oriented software development, UML modeling language and CASE tools.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the formal aspects of written communication.
- Having a separate main line of work is an indispensable requirement for the selection process.
- Knowledge of virtual teaching-learning environments.
- PhD related to the area.
- Teamwork abilities.
- Organized and proactive person.
- Languages: Catalan (optional), Spanish, English.
