💶 Gross monthly salary: €1,750 – €2,050 (depends on experience, marital status, number of children etc. in accordance with Croatian law)

About the Position

The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (AI Lab) at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb, is seeking a Junior Researcher to join a cutting-edge research project on the integration of large language models (LLMs) into enterprise systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career researcher to contribute to the growing field of applied AI in business environments.

Responsibilities

As part of the EU-funded project AppAI – Automation of Business Processes Driven by Artificial Intelligence (co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund), your role will include:

• Conducting industrial research on the use of LLMs in ERP and document management systems

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in both academic and business sectors

• Developing and evaluating prototypes of AI-powered agents and tools

• Preparing technical documentation and research outputs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Proficiency in Python

• Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, especially LLMs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:

  • Development of artificial agents

  • ERP systems

  • Pattern recognition

  • Natural language processing (NLP)
