PROGRAM
We are happy to announce that the program of the ECSS 2015 is now online. As in previous years the program is very exciting, with some of the world's most distinguished academics on the stage the Summit will not be short of inspiration and stimulation.
The call has been released for the 11th European Computer Science Summit - ECSS 2015.
CRA (cra.org), the association of North American academic departments and laboratories of computer science, computer engineering, and related fields, has recently published an important document recommending adjustments to hiring, promotion, and tenure practices as well as to the publication culture in computing and information sciences.
The Informatics Europe Best Practices in Education Award recognises outstanding European educational initiatives that improve the quality of Informatics teaching and the attractiveness of the discipline.
Professor Carlo Ghezzi, President of Informatics Europe and Professor and Chair of Software Engineering at DEIB, Politecnico di Milano, Italy, has been granted the 2015 Outstanding Research Award by ACM’s Special Interest Group on Software Engineering (SIGSOFT).
