The Minerva Informatics Equality Award (MIEA 2026) returns for its 11th year, recognising the inspiring work that pushes forward gender equality in Informatics research and education.

Eligibility
- Open to individuals or groups leading initiatives that support women’s careers in Informatics research and education at any stage.
- Nominees must be affiliated with an institution in a Council of Europe member or candidate country.
- Members of the 2026 Award Committee are ineligible to apply.
The Committee may recognise multiple winners. All nominations will be highlighted as best practices, contributing to the broader adoption of gender equality initiatives within the European Informatics community. A representative of the winning submission will be invited to give a short talk at ECSS 2026, taking place from 26-28 October in Porto, Portugal.
