Informatics Europe is pleased to announce that the Department of Informatics of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, joined Informatics Europe in January.
The KIT Department of Informatics offers a consecutive Bachelor / Master degree both in Informatics and in Information Engineering and Management. It also grants Doctor degrees and postdoctoral lecture qualification in the field of Informatics.
With seven institutes and 45 research groups, the department offers the foundation for wide research activities in Informatics:

- Institute of Program Structures and Data Organisation
- Institute of Computer Engineering
- Institute of Theoretical Informatics
- Institute for Visualization and Data Analysis
- Institute of Telematics
