Informatics Europe is pleased to welcome the Department of Computer Science of the Royal Holloway University of London as a new member.

RoyalHollowayThe Department is one of the UK's leading centres for research into Computer Science. Current research areas include Bioinformatics and Medical Applications of Computer Science, Machine Learning, Distributed and Global Computing, Type Theory and Applications, Software Language Engineering, Parameterised Algorithmics and Constraints.

The Computer Science Department offers undergraduate degrees: single honours (Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Security, and Software Engineering); joint or major honours (Computer Science and Mathematics, Computing and Business, Computer Science with Management, and Digital Media Communications) and integrated masters programmes (Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (Big Data), Information Security, and Software Engineering) as well as Postgraduate taught courses (MSc in Big Data, MSc in The Internet of Things, MSc in Distributed and Networked Systems, Msc in Business Information Systems) and postgraduate research (Mphil/PhD) or Msc by Research (Computer Science).

Member representative is Professor José Fiadeiro.
