We are happy to welcome the NOVA Laboratory for Computer Science and Informatics (NOVA LINCS), hosted at the Departamento de Informática of Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Portugal, as a new member.
NOVA LINCS results from combining the core research strengths of two separate research units at the NOVA Computer Science Department: the Centre for Informatics and Information Technology (CITI) and the Centre for Artificial Intelligence (CENTRIA). The scientific organisation of NOVA LINCS is based on four expertise areas, each corresponding to a formal research group:
- Computer Systems
- Knowledge-Based Systems
- Multimodal Systems
- Software Systems
The Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (DI/FCT/UNL) sustains a leading position in doctoral level education.
