We are happy to announce a unique development opportunity to our members, the Academic Leadership Course, which is an intensive 3-day residential course for all emerging leaders in Informatics.

This  multi-day Academic Leadership Course is a new service for Informatics Europe members and intended to develop new and emerging leaders in Informatics and Computing by providing an interactive, practical and experiential course combining participants’ experiences of leading in higher education with evidence-based positive leadership research. The course is designed by computer scientists for computer scientists and co-led by two highly experienced facilitators, Prof. Dr. Geraldine Fitzpatrick and Prof. Dr. Austen Rainer and will provide plenty of opportunities for reflection through individual conversation, pair and small-group activity, and larger group discussion. The course will provide practical advice and guidelines on leadership in higher education.

Date: 16 – 19 June 2020

Location: Schlosspark Mauerbach, Vienna, Austria

Early Registration Fees:

  • € 1500 - Informatics Europe Members
  • € 2000 - Non-Members
