Nominate now for the Minerva Informatics Equality Award 2025! This year the Award marks its 10th edition, a significant milestone for our community’s commitment to gender equality in Informatics research and education.
The Award honours impactful initiatives that support women’s careers in Informatics research and education at all stages, showcasing best practices and serving as potential models for institutions across Europe. Award submissions must demonstrate the impact achieved.
To support the winner(s) for their further work on promoting gender equality in Informatics, the Award carries a prize of EUR 5,000. Eligible nominees, an individual or a group, must be affiliated with institutions in one of the member or candidate member countries of the Council of Europe, or Israel. Members of the 2025 Award Committee are not eligible to apply for the Award. The Committee reserves the right to split the prize among multiple winners.
The Award will be presented at the 21st European Informatics Leaders Summit (ECSS) in Rennes (France), October 27-29, 2025, where a representative of the winning proposal(s) will be invited to give a brief talk on their achievements. Additionally, to encourage the broader adoption of gender equality initiatives, all nominated entries will be showcased as exemplars of best practice and may also be featured in future IE publications.
