SCHIER 2025: Apply Now for Europe’s Only Summer School on Informatics Education Research
The only summer school in Europe dedicated to Informatics Education Research returns 8–12 September 2025, hosted by UCLouvain in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, and sponsored by IBM Research Europe and FNRS.
Following last year’s successful launch, this second edition of SCHIER offers a week of focused learning, exchange, and expert networking in a field recognised as vital by the EU Council.
Co-organised by the IE Education Research Working Group, SCHIER is designed for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and other researchers interested in advancing research in Informatics Education.
Participants will benefit from:
- Expert-led lectures and interactive sessions on key topics and methodologies.
- Collaborative discussions on emerging research challenges.
- Networking opportunities that foster long-term collaboration and advancement.
