Informatics Europe is proud to report about important updates happening this year in its Informatics Higher Education Data Portal.
The 16th edition of the European Computer Science Summit, ECSS 2020, with the main theme 'Diversity in Informatics Research and Education' was held online via Zoom, 26-28 October.
We are proud to announce the winner of this year’s Informatics Europe 2020 Best Practices in Education Award.
The winner of the fifth edition of the Minerva Informatics Equality Award is the Department of Computer Science, University College London, United Kingdom, in recognition of outstanding support for the transition of female PhD and Postdoctoral Researchers into Faculty positions.
On 15 September 2020 Informatics Europe hosted the kick-off workshop of the online Academic Leadership Development Course for emerging academic leaders in Informatics and Computing.
Registration is now open for the 16th European Computer Science Summit (ECSS 2020), which is going to be a fully online event and will be held via Zoom on October 26-28, 2020. This year`s edition focuses on the theme:"Diversity in Informatics Research and Education".
On 25 June 2020 Informatics Europe hosted the webinar "Creating the New Academic Normal for Informatics Researchers", which provided a unique development opportunity for Informatics researchers.
The 1st call for participation has been released for the ECSS 2020. The 16th European Computer Science Summit will be held via Zoom, October 26-28, 2020.
Informatics Europe is supporting and co-organizing with TU Wien and other partners the Digital Humanism Workshop series, as well as its 2020 online lectures series.
The Joint Statement on Informatics Research Evaluation issued by Informatics Europe and 12 undersigned National Informatics Associations has been released in mid-April 2020 and can be downloaded as a PDF document here.
