Connecting initiatives with expertise on challenges shared across the Informatics community in Europe.

Informatics Europe brings together pan-European expertise on cross-cutting issues that affect the Informatics discipline, its institutions and its community across Europe.

Through our Working Groups and wider network, we connect this expertise with conferences, training, policy discussions and other initiatives.

We help share knowledge and good practices in areas such as education research, research evaluation and development, institutional strategy, ethics, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, open science, (cross-cutting) data or next-generation support—all timely and common challenges across our community.

Looking for an expert?

Are you organising a conference, workshop, training, panel, consultation or other initiative addressing one of these cross-cutting topics?

Our Working Groups can help identify experts from the IE community to contribute as speakers, trainers, advisors, reviewers or discussion partners.

Contact the Chair of the relevant IE Working Group directly to discuss your needs and identify the right expertise, personal webpages available on each WG webpage.

Share your expertise – get involved!

IE Working Groups bring together academics and researchers interested in advancing issues that matter across the Informatics community.

When opportunities arise to contribute to external events, consultations and initiatives, active Working Group members are our first point of reference. Getting involved gives you the opportunity to share your knowledge beyond your institution, expand your network and increase the visibility and impact of your work.
